Biography

Ezequiel's interest in acting begins at a young age. As a child, he is fascinated by Jim Carrey in The Mask and knows and interprets every scene in the film by heart every chance he gets.

At school, in Nice, he enrols in the theatre course offered as an extra-curricular activity. At the end of the year, a play is performed, conceived by the group and recounting the lives of famous women having contributed to History. He has the opportunity to act in it and even sing a song by Mexican Armando Manzanero, in Spanish: Cuando estoy contigo.

In high school, he continues to feed, this time outside the school walls, his appetite for theatre, spending two years at La Compagnie des Enfants du Spectacle, an acting school for youngsters, sponsored by renowned French actor Daniel Auteuil. At the end of the year, he has the opportunity to play Mr Mortez in Santa Claus is a Stinker. He also performs a scene that he writes himself in which he portrays two characters, a patient and his psychologist, during a consultation that is tragic, to say the least.

After arriving in Paris at the age of 19 for his studies, he reintegrates theatre into his life by enrolling at the Blanche Salant & Paul Weaver International Theatre Workshop. There, he completes a three-year professional acting training course and performs several characters from famous works during the various evaluations, including end-of-year performances:

  • Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov;
  • Jim O’Connor in The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams;
  • Jerry in At Home at the Zoo by Edward Albee;
  • Hamlet in Hamlet by William Shakespeare.

He then remains in the school's enclosure and continues his training for two more years with Jérôme Méla, in a course created to explore in depth certain authors, namely Jean-Louis Bauer and Shakespeare. He continues for a third year, still under the direction of Jérôme Méla but, this time, within his Creation Workshop; he tackles the characters of Alceste in The Misanthrope by Molière, and of Loth in The Seven Descents of Myrtle by Tennessee Williams.

Ezequiel also trains with Jack Waltzer at his Paris acting workshops, but also at the Cours Cochet-Delavène.

However, during his training he has the opportunity to act in several plays for several theatre companies, and in short films.

He writes scripts and produces and directs films, the first of which: Pastis, was born recently, in 2022. He is currently writing a second screenplay, this time as a feature film.
